Online talks - autumn/winter 2020/21

We have three online talks set up for the winter, via Zoom.  They're free, but you'll need to register by email.  Just email us to say you want to join the talk - a separate email for each, ideally - at mail@docomomoscotland.org.uk, and we'll send you a link on the day.

On Wednesday, 11 November (18:00 - 19:15), Dr Ewan Harrison, Curator, RIBA, will present Too Commercial, No Convictions on the work of R Seifert and Partners.

On Wednesday, 2 December (18:00 - 19:15), Dr Alistair Fair, Reader in Architectural History, University of Edinburgh, will present Remaking Edinburgh's South Side, on the redevelopment schemes sponsored by the University for the area in the 1960s and 70s.

On Wednesday, 20 January (1800-1915), Harriet Richardson, University of Edinburgh, will offer us the benefit of her current research (and a long-standing interest in the architecture of hospitals) in "Modern Principles in Hospital Design: Scottish Innovation in the 1950s"

Further talks are planned for early 2021 - more detail to follow, here and in our Newsletter and Twitter feed.
